Welcome !
We are an independent American Civil War Living History group based in Blair County Pennsylvania. We represent the Union Army of the Potomac in general with a component of a Union Infantry Company that was raised in Blair County. In addition, we have representation of the Union Army Signal Corps, United States Sharpshooters, a working Field Hospital, an active Chaplain, and also the Civilian life of Central Pennsylvania that supported them. We have members from throughout the state. Formed as a family oriented Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Corporation organization in association with and recognized by The Colonel Crowther Foundation, and by the Pennsylvania Dept. of State, our goal is to re-create the life and times of these men and women through reenactments, education activities and historic displays at public events. To teach the public the history of early America and the struggles it endured. We are proud to be associated with and members of the Col. James Crowther Camp #89 Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War
We are currently recruiting seasoned reenactors and beginners, and would love to have you in our ranks. ........It is for us, the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here, dedicated to the great task remaining before us. That from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion. That we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain........
